Note: Microsoft Windows XP Home, XP Media Center, Vista Home/Home Premium, and Windows 7 Home Premium are not supported in a network environment when logging into a domain is required. Refer to your Microsoft documentation for details on how to set up networking in a workgroup environment.

It's recommended that you install Maximizer on a drive formatted as an NTFS file system. If you want to install Maximizer on a FAT32 file system, you should first convert the drive to an NTFS file system.   1. The 32-bit version of Outlook is supported for use with Maximizer CRM Windows Access; both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Outlook are supported by Maximizer CRM Web Access.
  2. MaxExchange email transport not supported with Outlook 2010 and 2013. Integration not supported with Outlook "Click to Run" Version.
  3. The integration of Lotus Notes and Maximizer is limited to allowing access to only the Inbox folder and reading/composing email in plain text. Also subfolders are not available and email messages do not display attachment indicators
  4. Integration of Windows Live Mail and Maximizer is limited to allowing access to the Inbox folder and reading/composing email in plain text only. Also, subfolders are not available, email messages do not display attachment, importance, replied, or forwarded indicators in Maximizer and messages forwarded or replied from Maximizer are not marked as replied or forwarded when viewed from Windows Live Mail. Not supported on Windows 7.

 Computer Telephony Integration (TAPI)

Maximizer and Maximizer Enterprise may provide incoming call detection and outgoing phone dialling under the following conditions. Refer to this Maximizer Knowledge Base article.

  • The Caller-ID service from the telephone company is in SDM format.
  • The PBX or modem is compatible with Microsoft TAPI (Telephony Application Programming Interface) and is Caller-ID compliant.

Note: we do not support TAPI on Windows 7

Feature/Product Deprecation Notice

The following products/features are set for deprecation and will be discontinued in the next major release of Maximizer CRM. During the deprecation period, the product/feature is fully supported within the product, and technical support is available unless specified otherwise:
