Data Center Provider
Maximizer has partnered with Microsoft Azure® to host our data in their Tier IV Canadian & UK data centers.
Microsoft Azure® has more than 90 compliance certifications, including over 50 specific to global regions and countries, such as the US, the European Union, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, India, and China.
Additionally, Microsoft Azure® engages globally with governments, regulators, standards bodies, and non-governmental organizations on emerging security standards.

Data Encryption
Your connection to Maximizer is secured by 256-bit SSL/TLS 1.2 encryption with a 4096-bit public key to ensure that all data transmitted between you and our platform is well protected. The lock icon shown in your web browser indicates that your data is securely encrypted while in transit.
Data Security
Maximizer’s databases are encrypted at rest on the Microsoft Azure® platform which is monitored around the clock with intrusion detection
services and prevention of unauthorized access (IDS/IDP).
Maximizer’s Information Security policies are
based on ISO/IEC 27001 which specifies an Information Security Management System (ISMS) puts information security under explicit management control.
Data Protection
Azure® provides customers with strong data security, both by default and as customer options. At-rest data protection: Maximizer employs the use of Microsoft® Managed Keys for our Storage Accounts. When you use client-side encryption with Key Vault, your data is encrypted using a one-time symmetric Content Encryption Key (CEK). This is generated by the Azure® Storage client SDK
Application Security
Access to Maximizer is password protected through Multi-Factor Authentication to prevent unauthorized access to your account. Passwords are encrypted via SSL while in transit, and users are identified by an encrypted session ID cookie to prevent user impersonation. Yearly application penetration testing is performed to identify and prevent any potential security vulnerabilities.
Redundant Systems
Maximizer uses a triple-redundant, load-balanced application layer and a redundant database layer, along with fully redundant network infrastructure to ensure availability of our application even in the event of a hardware failure.
Database Backup
All of Maximizer’s customer databases are backed up daily, and backups are retained for seven days, ensuring that a recent backup of your data is always available. Extended retention services are available upon request.
