Maximizer is moving into Concord Pacific’s award-winning One Pacific building in Vancouver’s Yaletown tech-hub. This is our grand return to the downtown core after a six-year hiatus, and a move symbolic of our transformation as a company. Maximizer is moving up in many ways, with 14 staff added in the last six months alone. From today, we’ll be rubbing elbows with software giants at the centre of Vancouver’s burgeoning tech scene. Microsoft Canada’s new office is in plain view — while SAP’s recently renovated lab is just two blocks away.

The new ultra-modern Maximizer HQ at 68 Smithe Street overlooks the urban bustle of the Cambie Street bridge. A bright, spacious interior reflects core company values of open communication and transparency. Teams can freely collaborate thanks to an open floor plan encouraging multi-stakeholder decision-making. And there are amenities galore to keep everyone healthy, fit and creative:

  • Modern break room: Lined with stainless steel fridges, the spacious new break room is the perfect place to chill, grab a cup of coffee and indulge in some watercooler talk
  • Workout gym: There’s a gym in the building, featuring aerobics machines and weights to blow off steam on a rainy Vancouver afternoon
  • Bike locker and showers: Maximizer exhibits its green side in more than just its logo. We’re also cyclist-friendly — with lockers to secure bikes and a shower to rinse off the morning commute
  • Floor-to-ceiling whiteboards: Special high-gloss paint transforms walls and pillars into whiteboards. Staff are free to mark them up whenever inspiration strikes.

The new office is also within a five-minute walk of numerous cafes, restaurants, craft breweries and other attractions, including BC Place Stadium. Now that Maximizer’s back in the centre of action, the possibilities are endless.
