We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join the growing team in our Vancouver head office. As a key member of the professional services and solutions team, you will enable sales of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, as well as consulting services to businesses across North America. Your technical and functional expertise will be the key differentiator that wins the deal.

Key Responsibilities and Contributions:

  • Conduct pre-sales requirements gathering and analysis of prospect business processes
  • Skillful preparation and delivery of onsite and web-based product demonstrations tailored to customers’ business processes and requirements.
  • Customer success oriented solution design:
    • Based on understanding of the client’s business processes and unique challenges, design a unique solution to solve their key business challenges, which may require a combination of repeatable solutions and custom approaches.
    • Understand client’s core pain points to create a connection to business value
    • Define and create change management plans with prospective clients to enable them to adopt Maximizer CRM as a valued business solution
  • Frequent communications with all levels of a client organization, from end users and key stakeholders to the executive suite.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize the value of landing and expand activities within a client account.
  • Solution Selling: skills focusing on getting the prospective client excited about the ability to address their business problem with Maximizer software. Understand and validate prospect’s or client’s core needs and pains while demonstrating value on how to provide visibility to these issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated history of successful Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis in a sales environment
  • Complete understanding of all the products in the Maximizer ecosystem
  • Ability to translate complex technological solution design to real world scenarios and present this to a variety of audiences – from technical stakeholders, business leaders and executives.
  • Demonstrated experience working with the executive suite
  • Prior in-depth experience applying CRM or related (e.g. ERP and SCM) products
  • Prior experience in similar roles with both On-Premise and SaaS application providers will be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of applications, integrations and relational databases
  • Technical expertise sufficient to support business applications based on MS SQL Server, SSRS & IIS
  • Past experience working as a Solution Consultant, Solution Architect or Business Analyst with the primary responsibility to implement a software solution is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to provide coaching and oversight to Senior Sales and Account Managers on deal strategy and positioning.
