Have you ever felt the anxiety of your entire year’s target hinging on a single deal?

In every quarter, there are deals that matter more than others. Without question, you need to work with your sales team to identify the deals that need your priority according to the size or complexity of the lead, the prestige of the customer, the coaching needs of that particular salesperson, and so on.

Once you have identified critical buttons that need to be pushed for your most important deals, be sure the most up to date and essential information is being pushed to you – in real time!

Step 1 – Once you have identified the deals to which you need to pay the most attention, turn on your CRM’s push notifications to follow those critical deals and receive immediate notifications on your mobile device, or within the CRM, when the deal stage changes.

Step 2 – Make sure you also set notifications within the CRM that alert you to outliers …such as a deal not progressing as planned, an unexpected loss, or a planned activity that is not executed.

“Having real time access to progression on important deals, and to the red flags that require your intervention, you’ll be better equipped to help close those big deals and better prepared to respond to unexpected situations,” states Alex Ackermans, 20-year software developer and VP Engineering at Maximizer.
