The ecBuilder Developer’s Edition starts by providing the user with a choice of which ecBuilder file they would like to open.

Company Address Screen
The Company Address screen captures essential information about the Merchant's company name and address. The Developer will enter his customer's business name, address, and telephone numbers, and/or add a link to the Merchant's additional Web site. |

Site Builder Screen
The Site Builder screen captures information about the Developer who builds the Web site and is the person who will be the administrative contact for posting to ecPlace and to the merchants Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Contact Profiles Screen
The Contact Person screen captures information about the contact persons in the Merchants Company.

Company Identity Screen
The Company Identity screen allows the Developer to provide a logo, a slogan (or 'mission statement'), and some text describing their customer's Company. Supplying a logo ensures that customers will easily recognize the web site, and the company slogan will leave a lasting impression with shoppers.

Home Page Content Screen
The Home Page Screen allows the Developer to create the content for the Home Page.

Web Site Content Screen
The Web Site Content screen allows the Developer to define key marketing messages about the Merchant's company.

Catalog Screen
The Commerce Catalog screen is where the Developer will enter all of the relevant catalog information for the Merchant.

The ecBuilder Developer's Edition allows for the entry of extensive product or service information.

Payment Methods Screen
The Payment Methods screen allows the Developer to add Credit Card acceptance to a Web site, and if desired, real time transaction processing to any web site.

Currency Screen
The Currency Wizard allows the Developer to build web sites that display their catalog items in multiple currencies.

Order and Inquiry Fields
This wizard allows the Developer to ask additional questions of the shoppers on the Order and Inquiry forms.

Policies and Statements Screen
The Policies and Statements wizard allow the Developer to create a Policies web page that fully explains the Merchants policies relating to such things as Guarantees, Refunds, and the Privacy of the shopper's information.

The Web Links wizard creates a list of Links that the Merchant's web site can link directly to.

Advertising and Statistics Screen
The Advertising and Statistics Wizard allows the Developer to build Web sites whereby the Merchant has the ability partake in Banner exchange initiatives.

Site Design and Preview Screen
The Site Design and Preview wizard is where the Developer will select which Template Class, Template, and Skin they will use with each of the Web sites they are creating.

Additional Site Design and Preview Screens
In addition to using one of the existing Template Class, Skin and/or Template files, the Developer has the ability to create their own, and, or modify each of the Template files and Skin files at the .xsl file level.

Business Classification
The Marketing Business Classification screen assists you in promoting the Web sites to search engines and directories.

Search Engines Submission Screen
Promote your site on Internet search engines. In the Submission Search Engines screen, you can choose to have ecBuilder promote your site to the major Internet search engines for you.

Publish ecBuilder Site Screen
The Publish ecBuilder Site wizard performs the FTP process of uploading all of the ecBuilder generated web pages up to the Merchant's ISP.
