John Caputo, President

John CaputoAs President, Caputo leads corporate strategy and direction as well as overseeing operations across the company’s three geographic regions of the Americas, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Asia Pacific. Caputo joined Maximizer Software as Chief Financial Officer in 2000 and was promoted to co-President in 2002. Under his leadership as co-president, the company built significant market momentum including more than 25 prestigious industry awards and the highly successful launches of versions 8 and 9 of Maximizer Software’s products. In 2006, Caputo took on full leadership of Maximizer Software with his promotion to sole company President. Prior to joining Maximizer Software, Caputo served as Chief Financial Officer for a publicly traded IT services and solutions company along with senior roles at KPMG. Caputo is a Chartered Accountant and Dean's Medalist from Simon Fraser University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration. In 2005, he was named to Business in Vancouver Magazine's "40 under 40," an annual list of B.C.'s 40 most successful entrepreneurs under the age of 40 and in 2006 was appointed to the Board of Directors of the British Columbia Technology Industry Association ("BCTIA"). He is based in the company’s Canadian headquarters.


Americas
Peter Callaghan, Chief Sales Officer

Peter CallaghanCallaghan is responsible for overseeing Maximizer Software’s direct sales, channel sales, marketing, public relations and professional services organizations in the America's region. He has more than 19 years of sales experience in the software industry and has held senior sales and marketing positions at Pivotal, Computer Associates, Cognos, and Sybase. Callaghan participated in Pivotal's successful initial public offering on the NASDAQ and helped the company grow its revenues from US$1 million to US$ 100 million in less than five years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo, in Ontario, Canada. Callaghan was included in VARBusiness magazine's list of the "Top Channel Executives in 2005" and was recently named to CRM magazine's list of "Who's Who in CRM." A high-tech industry expert, he is frequently quoted in a variety of trade and business publications, including CRM Guru, VARBusiness, and Sales & Marketing Management magazine.

William Anderson, Executive Vice President, Technology

William AndersonAnderson is responsible for setting the direction and overseeing strategy and progress of all product management, research and development, quality assurance, documentation, customer support and services groups and projects at Maximizer Software Inc. The original architect of Maximizer Enterprise, Anderson has more than 15 years of CRM software development expertise and more than 11 years experience with Maximizer Software. Representing Maximizer Software’s products, Anderson regularly contributes to industry analyst research from firms including Forrester Research, Aberdeen Group, Nucleus Research and ISM Strategic Advisors. Anderson has also served as a “Future of CRM Technologies” panelist at CRM Magazine’s annual DestinationCRM Conference. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario.

Joseph Hui, Vice President Research and Development

Joseph HuiHui is responsible for overseeing Maximizer Software’s research and development activities as well as product management, quality assurance and documentation for Maximizer Software’s products. He joined Maximizer Software in 1995 as Development Manager and was subsequently promoted to Vice President, Engineering. With more than 10 years of CRM industry experience, Hui’s role expanded with his promotion to Vice President, Research and Development in 2006. Prior to joining Maximizer Software, Hui was a software engineer with Milpitas, California-based LSI Logic Corporation. He holds a B.A.Sc. with Honors from the University of British Columbia and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Kam Sandhu, Vice President Finance and Administration

Kam SandhuSandhu is responsible for overseeing Maximizer Software’s finance, accounting, administration, information technology and human resources activities in the Americas region. Sandhu joined Maximizer Software in 2000 as Controller and was subsequently promoted to Vice President, Finance. In 2006 his role was expanded with a promotion to Vice President, Finance and Administration. Prior to joining the company, Sandhu held senior positions with Grant Thornton and PriceWaterhouseCoopers. A Chartered Accountant, Sandhu holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.

Europe, Middle East and Africa

Vivek Thomas, Managing Director

Kam SandhuThomas oversees all sales, marketing, distribution strategies and operations for Maximizer Software within the UK, mainland Europe, the Middle East, and Africa - including the company’s extensive Business Partner network across the region. Thomas joined Maximizer Software in 2002 as Director, Americas Sales and was promoted to Vice President, Americas Sales in 2005. With more than 16 years of senior management experience, Thomas was promoted to his current role in 2006. Prior to Maximizer Software, Thomas held senior sales management positions with Sony Corp, Business Objects and most recently with CRM vendor Front Range Solutions. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree.

Australia & New Zealand

Peter Simons, General Manager

Kam SandhuSimons is responsible for overseeing all sales, marketing, distribution strategies and operations in Maximizer Software’s Australia and New Zealand region. An Australian local, Simons brings more than 15 years of experience in the Australian and New Zealand information technology market to his role. Joining Maximizer Software in 2006, Simons previously built HR Edge, a company focused on delivering PayGlobal human resources and payroll systems to the Australian market. Simons’ executive career also includes serving as Regional Manager for Payglobal, State Manager for Frontier Software and a senior sales position with project management and accounting software firm Lodex Computer Systems.

Asia

Samson Hui, Managing Director
Hui  is responsible for the group's regional sales and marketing activities as well as initiating and leading negotiations for merger and acquisition opportunities for the company's Hong Kong based subsidiary abc Multiactive. Hui has over 10 years experience in managing real estate, trading, investment and IT businesses.
